God’s Love and Good Works.
You’re Welcome Here.

The City of Palm Springs’ January 10th mandate closing city-owned buildings to the public until further notice requires Bloom’s congregation to gather online only for a few weeks starting January 16th, 2022

We will return for in-person worship with sensible precautions as soon as the mandate is lifted

Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Welcome News! Bloom Returns to the Demuth Community Center, June 27, 2021

Bloom’s Open Leadership Group has voted to regather for regular in-person worship starting June 27. In accordance with the CDC guidelines published, it is now considered safe for vaccinated people to gather, without masks, for a full capacity worship service and indoor singing. Therefore, masks will be optional. At the same time, people are welcome to wear masks as they so choose.

Out of an abundance of caution, several safety measures will be immediately visible as you enter the Demuth building:

• hand sanitizer
• thermometer
• disposable masks available
• individual wipes
• bulletins with hymns
• chairs will be set for modest, social distancing

Hospitality shall be postponed until some later date.

According to the CDC, unvaccinated people and those with special health concerns are strongly urged to wear masks in public. Some people may decide to continue worshiping online. We are moving from an era of emergency “rules” to a time of “personal responsibility.” As for greeting one another, it is important to respect one another’s personal space. “May I hug you,” is always a good question. Some may be uncomfortable with handshakes, so a fist or elbow bump may be more to a person’s liking. The important thing is to pay attention to other people’s preferences.

As federal, state, and local guidelines change, we will adjust as needed. In the midst of all this change, we thank God for seeing us through this trying time and pray for a safe return to a semblance of normalcy.
